Dairy Packaging Pouches

Novin Plastic provides solutions for packaging various dairy products, including fresh milk, ice cream, and fresh cheese, allowing customers to add more value to their products and prevent spoilage.

Dairy products spoil very quickly. Therefore, dairy packaging must minimize the risk of tearing to an acceptable standard. If dairy packaging is not standard, air, dust, moisture, and contaminants can easily enter the pouch and spoil the contents. Thus, in addition to product quality, the resistance of the packaging is also a key factor in maintaining product safety and marketing.

An essential feature of all dairy packaging is printability and additional functionalities. Additional functionalities refer to rounded corners, handle punch, easy-open punch, and hanging punch, which simplify product usage.

The printability feature offers many advantages. The producer can print information such as the company name, contact details, company logo, nutritional value, production date, expiration date, and price on the product. This feature not only adds to the beauty but also provides essential information.

Characteristics of Dairy Packaging Pouches

  • Prevent Product Spoilage: Ensure the freshness and quality of dairy products.
  • Prevent Contaminant Ingress: Block air and contaminants from entering the packaging.
  • Extend Shelf Life: Increase the longevity of the products.
  • High-Quality Printing: Provide clear and attractive printing on the packaging.

Aluminum Lids for Dairy Packaging Pouches

Aluminum lids in various sizes and shapes are the best option for dairy products packaged in plastic containers.

Types of Dairy Packaging Pouches

Three-Layer Vacuum Pouches (Zip and Non-Zip): Suitable for packaging shredded and chunk cheeses, these pouches offer high durability and a distinctive appearance.

Laminated (Multilayer) Pouches: Laminating is a process in which two or more flexible layers are bonded using an adhesive. Laminated pouches consist of one or more layers, each serving a specific function. The number and type of layers vary depending on the product and customer requirements. For instance, products that must be kept away from light use metalized laminated pouches.

Flexible packaging has gained global market share due to its numerous advantages and high efficiency, and Iranian producers are increasingly adopting this packaging style.

Flexible Laminated Pouches have Three Main Functions:

  1. Mechanical Strength: Enhances resistance to tearing during packaging, distribution, and storage.
  2. Protective Features: Guards the product against external factors like air, moisture, and gas while preserving quality, freshness, and aroma.
  3. Sealing Material: Ensures the packaging is impermeable.

Three-Side Seal Vacuum Pouches: These pouches are sealed on three sides and open on one side for filling. They are also known as vacuum pouches, suitable for long-term storage of products like protein foods (meat, chicken, fish, shrimp), processed foods (sausages, cold cuts, nuggets), fresh and frozen vegetables, and dried fruits and nuts (like pistachios).

Zip-Lock Pouches: Zip-lock functionality is a valuable feature for all types of food packaging mentioned above. Zip-lock pouches are not single-use, offering reusability. If you prefer zip-lock pouches, simply specify this when placing your order.

Non-Zip Pouches: Non-zip pouches are also highly practical and reusable despite lacking a zip-lock. The only difference is the absence of a zip-lock, which does not affect their overall utility.

By selecting the appropriate packaging, dairy producers can enhance the preservation, safety, and market appeal of their products.
